The third and final day of the MLB Draft resulted in a boatload of players with Alabama ties being selected.
Three high school standouts who were picked have indicated that they will opt for college over the pros: UMS-Wright outfielder/Mississippi State signee Tanner Allen went to the Chicago Cubs in the 36th round; Decatur pitcher/Auburn signee Tanner Burns was taken by the New York Yankees in the 37th round; and James Clemens outfielder Jordan Anderson went in the 40th round to the Texas Rangers.
Thank you @Yankees for drafting me! But I'm headed to the Plains!
