The list of players from Glades Central and Pahokee High Schools in western Palm Beach County, Florida, reads like a who's who of recent NFL stars.
Glades Central of Belle Glade has sent the likes of Fred Taylor, Santonio Holmes, Ray McDonald, Travis Benjamin, James Jackson, Reidel Anthony and Kelvin Benjamin to major college football and the pros in the last 25 years. Pahokee -- 10 miles to the north along the eastern shore of Lake Okeechobee -- boasts Anquan Boldin, Rickey Jackson, Pernell McPhee, Antone Smith and Janoris Jenkins on its football honor roll.
