Wayne Rooney Slammed by Roy Keane, Told to Cut WWE Antics After PSV Draw

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane branded current skipper Wayne Rooney "awful" following the Red Devils' drab 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Irishman questioned Rooney's leadership skills and suggested he should rethink his off-field activities following his appearance at a WWE Raw event in Manchester on Nov. 9.

United and Rooney were far from their best against PSV, and the result left their Champions League future hanging in the balance. Keane placed much of the blame firmly at Rooney's feet, per ITV (via Matt Morlidge on MailOnline):

Wayne [Rooney] was on about lack of composure and quality, but I think he was as guilty as anybody.
