Sir Alex Ferguson Moved out of Intensive Care After Brain Haemorrhage, Surgery

Manchester United provided an update on Sir Alex Ferguson's condition on Wednesday and confirmed he is no longer in intensive care.

The 76-year-old was hospitalised on Saturday after suffering a brain haemorrhage that required emergency surgery. His condition has now improved, the club confirmed via Twitter:

Sir Alex no longer needs intensive care and will continue rehabilitation as an inpatient. His family have been overwhelmed by the level of support and good wishes but continue to request privacy as this will be vital during this next stage of recovery. https://t.
