A warrant has been issued for West Ham United player Robert Snodgrass after he failed to show at a scheduled court date.

As reported by BBC, the 29-year-old was set to stand trial on Friday over allegations he was driving his car while a passenger was holding a baby in the back seat on April 17 last year. However, the Scotland international didn't appear at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court as arranged.

According to Snodgrass’ defence lawyer Martin Black, the Hammers man "didn’t think he had to be" in attendance.
