Realism kicks in for Man United

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands -- David De Gea walked alone to the tunnel and disappeared into the subterranean dressing rooms of the Feyenoord Stadion. Minutes earlier, he'd punched the turf in frustration after conceding the game's only goal.

After Saturday's derby defeat the Manchester United goalkeeper had wanted to keep a clean sheet and get back to winning ways in the Europa League, a competition he won in 2010 with Atletico Madrid. It wasn't to be.

As the raucous stadium erupted into another rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone, Zlatan Ibrahimovic walked alone into the tunnel. He wanted to play against Feyenoord, the eternal rivals of his old club Ajax.
