The teenaged Norway international was selected as part of the matchday squad due to Carlo Ancelotti's current injury concerns, with Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema among the first-team stars struggling for fitness.
Odegaard, along with fellow Castilla players Mayoral and Diego Llorente, was handed a place in the 20-man squad to take on Sergi's side at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday and will join Mayoral among the substitutes.
