Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus Agree on New Contract: Latest Details, Reaction

Juventus have agreed to a new contract with manager Massimiliano Allegri, keeping the Italian at the club until 30 June 2018.

The club announced the news on Friday.

The former AC Milan boss was linked with Manchester United and Chelsea earlier this season, per the Daily Mirror’s John Cross. The Blues eventually opted for compatriot Antonio Conte.

Allegri guided the Bianconeri to their fifth straight Serie A title in the 2015-16 campaign, putting together one of the team’s finest runs in history after a poor start to the season. Juventus haven’t lost in the league since October of last year and have dropped points just once in 2016.
