Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze is set to remain on the sidelines after an investigation into his recurring muscular problems uncovered "the player has metabolic disturbances."
Per the Bundesliga side's official website, 24-year-old Gotze, who has not played since late January, has been withdrawn from training "for the time being," with no specific date set for his return.
