Jurgen Klopp has told his first Liverpool news conference that he will have "the first and the last word on transfers" and joked that he should be dubbed "the Normal One."
Former Borussia Dortmund boss Klopp was confirmed as Brendan Rodgers' successor on Thursday and was visibly delighted to have arrived at Anfield at his first media appearance in his new job.
"I'm back in the race," he said. "It's the biggest honour I can imagine, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I've been given the opportunity to help in this situation, but it's not so difficult as some people in this room think.
