West Ham United signed Swiss prodigy Edimilson Fernandes from FC Sion on Thursday.
The club confirmed the 20-year-old's capture via their official Twitter feed:

According to the Daily Mail's Simon Jones, West Ham paid FC Sion a £5.5 million fee for the Swiss midfielder.
Cousin of former Manchester City star Gelson Fernandes, the playmaker rose through the ranks at Sion.
Per Jones, the youngster had been described as "unsellable" by the president of the Swiss club.
