Dutch winger Memphis Depay says the private conversation he held with Louis van Gaal was the major deciding factor why he chose Manchester United over other interested clubs.
The 21-year-old who will join United in the summer, pending a medical after a fee has been agreed between PSV and Manchester United, which as per BBC is around £30m.
The PSV star reveals that although he was close to joining PSG but Manchester United were always interested in him. The winger says he supported United since he was 11-year-old. In an interview with NU Sport, he says:
“When I was eleven years old I had already told myself that I ever had to play for United.
