Chelsea, Manchester City Charged for Failure to Control Players

Both Chelsea and Manchester City have been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players during Saturday's Premier League clash, which the Blues won 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

A mass brawl broke out in stoppage time, and City duo Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho were both sent off. The FA confirmed Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas will face no further action for his part in the confrontation.

The governing body said that both clubs have until 6 p.m. GMT (1 p.m. ET) on Dec. 8, 2016, to respond to the charge.
