According to Italian programme Sport Mediaset, former Real Madrid manager Ancelotti will make a swift return to Europe's elite when he ends his sabbatical next summer, replacing Guardiola at the Bayern helm (via Football Italia).
The report indicates that while the incumbent Bayern boss will move to Manchester City upon seeing his Allianz Arena contract expire, Ancelotti has an "unwritten agreement" to pen a two-year contract in Bavaria.
