Barcelona slipped to third in La Liga on Saturday after being beaten by Michel’s impressive Girona side 4-2 at Montilivi.
Xavi’s side now face a battle to finish second, and secure a place at the Spanish Super Cup, with just four games of the season left to play.
Diario AS are reporting that if Barcelona do end up finishing third then Joan Laporta could well hit the panic button and decide on all sorts of “very traumatic” changes.
Xavi has agreed to stay on for another season but his job will apparently be at risk again with a third-place finish.
