We made it! The final weekend of the 2014-15 Premier League in the books, so it's time to run the rule over the Heroes and Villains of the weekend.
Heroes
Jonas Gutierrez has fought off more dangerous adversaries than West Ham and so it was fitting that he lashed home the goal that secured a different, and rather less important, form of survival. Gutierrez typified Newcastle's performance in the 2-0 win, as did the excellent Vurnon Anita, but they need to do that every week. This club should never have found itself in such a precarious position.
