Not everybody is a star right away in college. Heck, not all the stars in college are superstars in high school. Sometimes it take a little bit of time for a player to figure it out. The D-FW has seen its fair share of late bloomers over the past decade, guys who sat and waited their turn before busting out for big seasons late in college. Here are five of the best.

Casey Walker, DT, Oklahoma / High School: Garland / Class: 2008 / Walker was just a three-star recruit coming out of Garland. He redshirted at Oklahoma, played in just three games as a redshirt freshman, then suffered a knee injury as a sophomore that robbed him of six games.
