Favorable or not, new Texas football coach Tom Herman managed to draw plenty of attention to his program.
All it took were a few tweets about his team's new lockers. Yes, those lockers. The $10,500-apiece lockers.
Even in the elite college football world, where a team's facilities are pretty much indistinguishable from high-end Vegas hotels, the Texas lockers qualified as uncharted territory. Factor in lighted doors and a 43-inch monitor in lieu of the standard name plate and they look like something Tony Stark would have designed. They're also useful.
