Tyrone Maxey, the father of South Garland's Tyrese Maxey, who is one of the top high school basketball prospects in the nation for 2019, reportedly has left his position as part of the SMU Mustangs' basketball staff.
Jon Rothstein, college basketball insider for CBS Sports, tweeted that Tyrone Maxey is no longer SMU's director of player development.
