It was a tough weekend around the sports world, and it all culminated in the passing of golf legend Arnold Palmer.

Palmer ranked among the most important figures in golf history, and it went well beyond his seven major championships and 62 PGA Tour wins. "The King," died Sunday in Pittsburgh. He was 87.

Dallas-native Jordan Spieth shared a locker with Palmer at The Masters this past year, and former SMU Mustang Bryson DeChambeau encountered him at Augusta National, as well - his first trip to the tournament.
