As the team ramps up preparations for the MLS is Back Tournament next month, Sounders FC players and staff took a moment to reflect Harry Shipp’s contributions to the club following his retirement on Tuesday.
Sounders forward Will Bruin, who joined Rave Green mere days after Shipp signed in 2017, is sad to see him go, but acknowledged that his former teammate is setting himself up for a successful post-soccer career.
“I wish Harry all the best,” said Bruin. "He was a good friend of mine on the team. I know he’s going to be doing great things in next chapter.
