Sounders lead MLS in attendance, again

Once again, your Seattle Sounders finish the season at the top of the table in regards to overall attendance. The Sounders averaged 42,636 per game across 17 home matches this season. Though it’s a slight drop compared to last year where the average was 44,247 for the season.

Orlando City was second to the Sounders with average attendance of 31,324 at Camping World Stadium. Ten MLS teams averaged over 20,000 a game in 2016 and 11 teams saw attendance increase. FC Dallas finished at the bottom of the group with 14,094 this year, down from 16,013 in 2015.
