MLS Draft 2017: Sounders add right back Dominic Oduro with pick 44

Seattle closed both rounds of the MLS draft in LA, picking 22nd in round two (44th overall) the Rave Green picked youth international Dominic Oduro. Not to be confused with Montreal’s speedster of the same name, the former Manchester City Academy player has a similar type of speed about him, and could play on the right side in MLS.

The 5’5” Ghanaian left his home country in 2011 to play with the Manchester City Academy before joining Aarhus GF of the Danish Superliga, first on loan and later permanently. Oduro also had loan spells in Belgium and Sweden, but only played in 25 matches for his three clubs in that period.
