Thomas Rawls trying to find his role in Seahawks' backfield

RENTON, Wash. -- When the free-agency period opened in March, no team in the NFL was more aggressive than the Seattle Seahawks in exploring running-back options.

So naturally, it's fair to wonder what Thomas Rawls was thinking when the team looked at Adrian Peterson, Latavius Murray and Jamaal Charles before eventually signing Eddie Lacy.

"If there was a depth chart with three selective players, I look at it as Thomas Rawls, Thomas Rawls and Thomas Rawls," he said Friday. "I’ve always been in competition with myself.
