Seahawks to reinstate FB Derrick Coleman

The Seattle Seahawks will lift their suspension of fullback Derrick Coleman, head coach Pete Carroll said on Monday.

Coleman had been suspended indefinitely after he was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault and hit-and-run on Wednesday evening. The 25-year-old Coleman was released from custody on Friday as investigators determine the results of blood tests taken after the two-car crash.

Carroll said that team doctors will have to clear Coleman before they know if he's ready to play in Seattle's next game Thursday night against San Francisco.
