This could have been Mike Morgan’s year, but alas it has come to an end after four mostly-nondescript games — The Seattle Seahawks have placed the sixth-year linebacker on injured reserve with a sports hernia.

The team could use the special exception to bring back Morgan after Week 8 (he could practice after Week 6) but given his production this season — two tackles, roughly 25% of defensive snaps at the SAM position — they might need to use that on a different player.
