The Seahawks are in weird territory. They are no longer playing football for the 2018 season but they are making real moves and have actual news. Or, at least, some of the news surrounding Seattle happened to some players or coaches they once knew well.
Darrell Bevell becomes the OC with the Lions
Bevell had a spicy relationship with 12s when he was the Seahawks offensive coordinator from 2011 to 2017. He was judged harshly for his sometimes too-laid-back attitude towards Seahawks personnel. For instance, former cornerback Richard Sherman (who to my knowledge never played offense in Seattle and should have focused more on defensive inefficiencies) called out Bevell several times on and off the field.
