The Seattle Seahawks defense could be the best in the NFL, but going against division rival Arizona Cardinals this Sunday night, they might be down to their backup strong safety and third string SAM linebacker.
News on Friday was that the Seahawks are listing linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis as OUT and strong safety Kam Chancellor as DOUBTFUL against the Cardinals. They will also be without tight end Luke Willson and running back Thomas Rawls, but both of those were expected. Running back C.J. Prosise will be a gametime decision.
Pete Carroll told reporters that Chancellor had trouble going on Thursday and Friday, so they’ll give him another two days to see if he happens to be ready by Sunday but that sounds unlikely.
