Former Seahawk Jeremy Lane given one-year suspended sentence in reckless driving case

Former Seahawk cornerback Jeremy Lane was handed a 364-day suspended sentence in King County Court in Redmond Friday after having plead guilty to reckless driving in March.

Lane plead guilty to a reduced charge in relation to an incident in January when he was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Lane also received a $5,000 fine with $4,650 suspended.

The sentence is suspended for 24 months with the standard DUI conditions that include not committing any future law violations. Lane is also required to complete two days of work crew within 60 days (Lane was given the option to complete 20 hours of community service but Lane opted for two days o a work crew) and also has to complete an alcohol/drug evaluation and follow-up treatment and a victim’s impact panel.
