Seahawks punter Jon Ryan will appear on NBC's American Ninja Warrior on Monday at 8pm PT, and you can see an interview with Ryan above. American Ninja Warrior is one of my favorite television shows (no joke) and contestants navigate a series of increasingly difficult physical challenges -- timed all the way -- in an effort to win respect and some nice cash. Ryan is competing for The Bob Ryan Foundation, which funds cancer research and college scholarships in his native Canada. Bob Ryan is Jon's father, and he passed away nine years ago.
Ryan looks like he's in great shape for the competition -- which really requires a ton of upper body strength and endurance.
