5 Toughest QBs The Seattle Seahawks Will Face In 2015

Russell Wilson can do battle with the best of them, but the Seattle Seahawks still have a major challenge ahead of them in 2015 when it comes to the opposing quarterbacks they’ll face in the regular season. Here’s our list of The 5 Toughest QBs The Seattle Seahawks Will Face In 2015.

5. Colin Kaepernick (October 22nd, November 22nd)

Let's put the rivalry aside for a moment. The 49ers QB has been unjustly maligned the past 12 months after he was forced to be something he was not in the last year of Jim Harbaugh’s tenure in SF — a pocket quarterback. If new coach Jim Tomsula lets Kaepernick run with abandon once again, these will be very tricky division games to navigate.

4. Ben Roethlisberger (November 29th)

Big Ben goes from a good-to-great quarterback to a transcendent one every time he finds that groove which pops up five or six times a season. Plus, he's only getting more accurate and more deadly in the pocket with age. Either way, Russell Wilson vs. Ben Roethlisberger is going to be a heck of a lot of fun to watch.

3. Cam Newton (October 18th)

This may seem high, but Newton's got a brand-new mega-contract in hand and all the motivation in the world to put his considerable athletic talents to efficient use. This Panthers team is better than last year's losing regular-season record suggests, and a good deal of that has to do with just how high Newton's ceiling really is.

2. Tony Romo (November 1st)

Often the butt of jokes all over the Internet, people seem to forget just how much Romo can kill you when he goes into full gunslinger mode. Sure he makes his fair share of mistakes, but he's always been unshakeable and can dominate ANY defense on his best day.

1. Aaron Rodgers (September 20th)

The only true contender for NFL Playoffs rematch of the year takes place in Week 2, as Rodgers in the Packers look for revenge after last postseason's overtime loss in the NFC Championship Game. As for Rodgers, he just happens to be the best pocket quarterback in the game. When an opposing QB can make good skill-position players look unstoppable, you know you're in for an epic fight.
