SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Andrés Muñoz, RHP, returned from Major League rehab assignment and reinstated from the 60-day Injured List.
· Joe Smith, RHP, placed on Injured List.
The Mariners active roster remains full at 28 players.
The 40-man roster remains at 39 players.
Muñoz (#54) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Angels at 6:10 pm PT.
Muñoz (moon-YOCE), 22, has made 4 relief appearances on Major League rehab assignment this season with the Arizona Complex League Mariners (1 G) and Triple-A Tacoma (3 G).
