Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Erasmo Ramírez, RHP, reinstated from the 10-day disabled list and recalled from rehab assignment with AAA Tacoma.
· Nick Rumbelow, RHP, optioned to AAA Tacoma (post-game 8/11).
Ramírez (#31) will be in uniform and is scheduled to be the starting pitcher in today’s (11:10 am PT / 1:10 pm CT) game vs. the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
Ramírez, 28, was placed on the 10-day disabled list for the second time this season with a right Teres Major strain on May 1 after making 2 starts for the Mariners.
