Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Mike Zunino, C, recalled from rehab assignment at high-A Modesto and activated from 10-day disabled list.
· Mike Marjama, C, optioned to AAA Tacoma (postgame April 19).
Zunino (#3) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s (5:05 pm PT) game at the Texas Rangers.
Zunino, 27, was placed on the 10-day DL on March 30, retroactive to March 27, with a strained left oblique muscle. He sustained the injury during the Mariners workout at Safeco Field on March 28.
