WASHINGTON (WJLA) — The newest addition to Burger King's menu will be a "Tex Mex" version of their iconic burger.
The "Whopperito" is a flour tortilla stuffed with the beef of a Whopper, but with added seasonings.
It's also stuffed with queso sauce, chopped tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and pickles.
Burger King's CEO says he's been looking for a way to add a "Tex Mex" item to his menu.
CNN reports that testing of the new item was deemed successful in some Ohio and Pennsylvania locations.
The Whopperito is expected to launch at all Burger King restaurants next Monday.
