Baseball Hosts Stanford Marking Midway Point Of Season

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara baseball renews its most played rivalry matchup when it welcomes the Stanford Cardinal to Schott Stadium Tuesday night for a 6 p.m. first pitch. Tuesday's contest marks the 368th meeting between the storied programs, who first met on the baseball diamond in 1892. Santa Clara is 2-1 in midweek games this season.

First year Bronco head coach Rusty Filter was the longtime associate head coach at Stanford under the legendary Mark Marquess having spent the previous eight years at The Farm where he was among the top pitching coaches in the nation.
