While on assignment with the Wichita Thunder, San Jose Sharks goaltending prospect Strauss Mann has been named the ECHL’s Goaltender of the Week for the week ending on Jan. 8. In the last week, Mann posted a 2-0-0 record, a .965 save percentage (SV%) and 1.42 goals-against average (GAA). This is his second league award in the ECHL, as he was named the ECHL’s Rookie of the Month in October 2022.
