SAN JOSE — Logan Couture is able to talk and eat after he had multiple teeth knocked out over the weekend, Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said Tuesday.
Couture, Wilson said, did not need to have his jaw wired shut after a deflected puck caught him in the mouth on Saturday when the Sharks played the Nashville Predators.
Couture was on the team bus Sunday morning when the Sharks flew back to San Jose and visited a dentist on Monday, but it’s unclear all what work Couture needed to have done. As of early Tuesday afternoon, Wilson had not spoken to Couture about the specific dental repairs needed.
