Canada beats Russia, moves on to Final

Canada took on Russia in the World Cup of Hockey’s first semi-final tonight, and will be headed to the final after strong performances from Brad Marchand, Sidney Crosby, and Patrice Bergeron.

Sidney Crosby opened scoring for Canada in the first period after a rough turnover by Russia’s defence. The penalties were frequent throughout the period, with most being called against the Russians.
