The San Jose Barracuda continued to roll over one of their tougher opponents in the Ontario Reign. The Reign were looking to get back on track after losing their last game to the San Diego Gulls by an identical 4-1 score. The Barracuda were looking to extend their seven-game winning streak to eight games.
The Barracuda struck first as Dan Kelly notched his first goal of the season at 7:47 with a rocket from the point. The assists would go to Buddy Robinson (7) and Rourke Chartier (12). Dan Kelly, of course, being far better known for his rugged play than goal scoring.
