The open 0-0 draw in New England last night did not require the Earthquakes to summon another timely goal to grab a result in the waning stages anyways. It simply required a bit of perseverance through a fraught period midway through the first half and a willingness to push forward at the right time to place the Revolution under pressure.
By combining those tenets and displaying the usual determination and grit, the Earthquakes claimed a third consecutive draw and secured their first road result of this nascent season to start a two-match road swing this week.
