Quakes’ late goal hands FC Dallas first loss of MLS season

FRISCO, Texas – The Earthquakes have made a habit of late-game heroics at home.
Saturday night, they finally took that act on the road.
Jahmir Hyka scored a spectacular goal in the 81st minute to take the lead and goalkeeper David Bingham made it stand up with a spectacular save five minutes later as the Quakes handed FC Dallas its first loss of the MLS season, 1-0, at Toyota Stadium.
The victory was only the second in seven away games for the Quakes (5-4-4, 19 points).
Hyka’s third goal of the season was actually the second time he had put the ball in the net Saturday.
