SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that Mexican electronic group Nortec Collective will perform in the 7UP Epicenter at Avaya Stadium prior to the Quakes match against the LA Galaxy on May 27. Fans can enter the stadium at 4:30 p.m. and watch the Grammy-nominated group perform ahead of the 6:45 p.m. PT game against the Galaxy broadcast on Univision. The match is presented by Wells Fargo and the first 10,000 fans that enter the stadium will receive a Quakes Cali Clasico hat.
Nortec Collective formed in Tijuana, Mexico and throughout the years has performed at major festivals, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits and Glastonbury.
