With his goal against FC Dallas last Wednesday, Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski scored his 142nd career goal in MLS regular season, and is just four goals shy of surpassing Landon Donovan as the all-time leading goal scorer in MLS.

Wondolowski’s goal against Dallas was also his 40th career game-winning goal, and he is now tied for second with Jeff Cunningham on the MLS all-time game-winning goals leaderboard.
Reaching for the top
Midfielder Vako scored three goals in two games last week, with two tallies coming against FC Dallas and one against Vancouver, to bring his season total to nine.
