DONATE: Former Clash goalkeeper Tom Liner in search of kidney donation

Dear Earthquakes Community,

In September 2018, I was unexpectedly hospitalized and diagnosed with end stage Kidney Failure. Since then, I have been going to dialysis three times a week for 4-hour treatments in order to keep my blood free of toxins.

My doctor feels I am a great candidate for kidney transplant, as I have no other health problems. Receiving a kidney will give me the opportunity to return to work and regain a normal life with my family.

Since playing in goal for San Jose in 1996 and 1997, the inaugural years of MLS, I have been working as a full-time men’s soccer coach and instructor at Foothill College.
