Marco Luciano hasn’t put on a show yet in Spring Training — he’s slashing just .083/.154/.083 — but the organization’s top prospect has still been the talk of the San Francisco Giants camp. He looks ridiculously powerful and equally athletic. The reports from scouts, analysts, and the coaching staff are all wonderful to read, and we’re left wondering when we might get to see the 19 year old in a regular season game.
If he’s to be believed, next year is the answer to that question.
Luciano has a mere 38 plate appearances above rookie ball, but he has his eyes set on a 2022 debut.
