SF Giants' Carlos Rodon apologizes for nailing teammate with bat in 'stupid' meltdown

It's never good when the starting pitcher has to lead his postgame comments this way:

"Just a selfish action that is unacceptable and cannot happen."

"That cannot happen, I just feel stupid, really stupid."

"If anything, I should be hitting myself. Stupid."

And then you watch the video of the San Francisco Giants' Carlos Rodon kicking a bat at teammate Thairo Estrada, and maybe he didn't go far enough.

Rodon, who allows the lowest home run rate in the majors, gave up two dingers in the first three innings against the Diamondbacks Tuesday night.
