SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The San Francisco Giants announced today that they have acquired outfielder Kevin Pillar from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for infielder Alen Hanson, right-handed pitcher Derek Law and right-handed pitcher Juan De Paula.
Pillar, 30, has spent his entire professional career with the Blue Jays after being drafted by the organization in 2011 from California State University Dominguez Hills. Last season he led Toronto in batting average (.
