With all 30 teams letting reporters know about players that will and won’t be tendered contracts, it is understandable to make some mistakes. In an era of fake news and fake Twitter handles, this one was an easy fix.

Gearrin was drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 Amateur draft by the Atlanta Braves and was released in 2014.
