Hunter Pence is playing barista next week, giving Giants fans the opportunity for a unique caffeine — and adrenaline — rush.
Pence and teammate Denard Span will be serving Peet's coffee at two San Francisco locations on May 30. The appearance is intended to promote Peet's 2017 Giants Clubhouse Blend coffee. The local coffeeshop chain, which was founded in Berkeley in 1966, partners yearly with the Giants and Warriors to create custom blends.
Pence will be serving up Peet's at the Ferry Building location, while Span will appear at the location at 2080 Chestnut St.
